Are you ready to showcase your love for Franklin, NC, and its stunning fall foliage? We're excited to announce our annual Fall in Franklin photo contest!

Capture the essence of fall in Franklin, NC, by taking photos of the changing leaves, natural landscapes, and local attractions.

Submit your photos:

Submit your entries by October 28th, 12:00 pm EST.

Cross your fingers!

Winners will be announced on November 1st, 12:00 pm EST.

Contest Rules:

Open to: All amateur photographers 18 years of age and older.
Residents: The contest is open to residents of Franklin, NC, and surrounding areas.
Submissions: Participants may submit up to 5 photos.
File format: Photos must be submitted in JPEG format.
Image size: Minimum image size is 2MB, maximum 10MB.
Editing: Minor editing is allowed (e.g., cropping, color correction, sharpening). Excessive manipulation or composite images are not permitted.
Watermarks: Watermarks or logos should not be visible in the submitted photos.
No drones: Photos taken with drones will not be accepted.

Judging Criteria:

Composition: The arrangement of elements within the photo.
Creativity: The originality and uniqueness of the perspective.
Technical Skill: The quality of exposure, focus, and overall technical aspects.
Storytelling: The ability of the photo to convey a message or evoke emotion.
Relevance: How well the photo captures the essence of fall in Franklin.

Prizes:

Grand Prize: A $100 gift card to Gracious Plates On Main
Runner-Up: A $50 gift card to Gracious Plates On Main
Honorable Mentions: A $15 gift card to Gracious Plates on Main as well as several honorable mentions will be awarded.

Contest Rules:

Participants retain copyright to their submitted photos.
Contest organizers have the right to use the photos for promotional purposes (including but not limited to social media, Gracious Plates On Main’s website, and local publications).
Any disputes will be resolved at the sole discretion of the contest organizers.
